It can be an official / unofficial home page to a police, fire, or emergency service department or a personal homepage. (Personal homepages DO NOT have to be public service related but do need to promote public safety and awareness). Commercial sites will be considered, but this award in no way serves as an endorsement for any service or product that company may sell. These sites must be Law Enforcement related. Sites that promote racism, the overthrow of the government, ideologically, or political views, etc, will not be considered. We
speak English and therefore your site must be in English, or offer an
English version. Effort / Endeavor. A site must have some effort applied and those sites that display thought, content, imagination, creativity or time involved will certainly be considered. Should have a good overall layout with images that load correctly. Should not have any broken or dead links. Website should not just be a collection of links; needs to have some type of essence. Signing our Guest Book. This would be the desirable thing to do, if you signed our Guest Book and browsed our site and not just click on one page to seize our award. In any case, we will certainly have to browse through your site meticulously to make an evaluation. |

This award is not given to every site that applies. It wouldn't be fair to those who have put a lot of time, effort and creativity into their sites to give out awards to others that just impetuously put together a few pages to get on the internet.
