The East Point Law Enforcement Center (LEC) located at 2727 East Point Street, East Point, Georgia was built in 1990 to replace the old East Point Police Department building at 1637 West Cleveland Avenue which was built in 1952. The old police station stood where the parking lot is now located for the new LEC.

The LEC houses the Police Department, the In-Door Firearms Range, Records, Communications, and all support divisions.  The command staff of the East Point Fire Department, and the Fire Department's arson investigators are also housed at the LEC.
