U.S. Citizen.

Minimum age: 21.

High School Diploma or state-issued GED certificate (Military or Job Corp GED's
will not be accepted by P.O.S.T.).

Valid Georgia Driver's License.

Honorable Discharge from Armed Forces [if applicable].
-
No felony convictions.
-
No misdemeanor convictions involving moral character, perjury or false
statements.
-
No evidence of a pattern of convictions which would represent a deliberate
disregard for the law.

No DUI / DWI convictions or pleas of Nolo Contendere.
-
No excessive traffic violations.
-
Good moral character.
-
Good physical condition.
-
Successfully complete all phases of the hiring process.

Certified Peace Officers:
-
must be in good standing with P.O.S.T.
-
must have left previous agency(s) in good standing.
-
